Master Tom MacCallum

At the beginning of the New Year 2008 I would like to pass on to all AETF Members a huge compendium of knowledge, which have became the ITF Newsletters.

When I was designed to take over the position of the AETF President in my official opening speech I have outlined the directions of the activity and the aspects on which I am going to concentrate particularly. One point of the organizational aims was collecting archives of documentations.

Today it is my great pleasure to inform all of you that on our website www.itfeurope.org, in the members section, I have already made available my private collection of ITF Newsletters which includes the Newsletters from 1985 to 2007 together with all documents that were attached to each newsletter.

There are altogether 161 Newsletters, 595 pages of documents, 258 MB of dates.

The ITF Newsletters have especially emotional value and they are enclosing a priceless historical knowledge. The author of this idea and the creator of the Newsletters was Master Tom MacCallum who after his arrival in Vienna in 1985 started to issue a Newsletter which was one of ITF communication forms with its members.

23 years of Master MacCallum’s activity have born fruit in the form of this great, now available, collection.

We know how difficult it is to get the written information from the last years of activity of ITF. From this perspective the Newsletters prepared by Master MacCallum are an invaluable source of knowledge about the activity of our organization, as well as about the people how are or were working in ITF.

Yours in Taekwon-do
Tadeusz Łoboda
AETF President
