Dutch National Championships 2007

November 11th 2007 were the National Championships. With 10 clubs, 103 participants in youth, junior and senior an increase of 6 participant of last year. With 16 Umpire under the guidance of Master Coos van den Heuvel, Harry van Schaik and Patrick den Hoed 3th degree, Tul, Team Tul, Tukgi and Gyokpa were performed. Many good juniors and senior black belts were making good performances in selection on the National Team for the European Championships next year in Poland.

   

In according with the ITF rules the competition were performed in a good ambiance and a beautiful decorated hall in Nijmegen (centre of the Netherlands) The competition committee under guidance of Mr. Martin Schellens, 5th degree and Carlo van de Braak 4th degree everything was running smooth.

Besides the championships there was also a celebration of the European and world champions of this year. Participants, coaches, referees were giving presents as a thanks for there efforts. Also our new Master Coos van den Heuvel had the honour to give the prices to our new National Champions.

   

At 16.00 hour the last prices were given. We like to thank all the participants, coaches, parents, umpires and organisers for a very new atmosphere. Special words for Frasher Pura (father of Maxime Pura, European Champion 2007 power breaking and Vice World Champion 2007 Tul 2nd Degree) who was part of a terrible accident and showed us his indomitable spirit and is an inspiration for us all! TAEKWON.
