Newsletter Newsletter 4/2007 Umpire Course C in Netherlands

Sunday 28th October 2007 was the second course, C level, of the new Umpire Committee in the Netherlands. 13 participants were taking the national course being educated in Tuls, Team Tuls, Special Technics and Power Test. With a power point presentation, discussions, questions and tips the theory was presented. In the afternoon everybody had to be practical in every item to fully understand every detail of the rules.

   

World Champion 2007 in Canada, Jamil Chami and former European Champion Gework Ikilikjan 2006 in Romania were among the participants to gain more knowledge of this aspect of Taekwon-Do, especially the dress code. In two weeks the national championships give all participants the opportunity to gain practical experience to be fully licensed as a C-umpire in the Netherlands.

The reviews were outstanding and the average for the course was a 8,2 for the whole course. Progress can be made in making bye explaining the points in various ways on film and this will be taken in consideration.
