For the 1st time in the ITF Taekwon-Do history an International Instructor Course was held above the Polar circle.

This historical events took place in the beautiful city of Tromsoe - Norway. Where 161 participants from Norway, Sweden and Finland was gathering together for a 3 days course on 21- 23 September 2007 and made this event a great success.

Tromsoe is also the city chosen to be Norway’s candidate for hosting the Winter Olympic Games in 2018.

The course was conducted by the ITF Technical committee and covered all the aspect of Taekwon-Do; such as patterns, kicks, basic movements, sine wave, self defence, free-sparring drills, pre arranged free-sparring and different ways to warm up.

Master Hector Marano, Master Pablo Trajtenberg and Master Willem Bos are very motivational and showed everybody that the legacy after Gen. Choi Hong Hi are in good hands. They way they conducted the course was excellent. The participants showed great spirit in their training so the atmosphere during the weekend was fantastic.

ITF President Master Trân Triêu Quân was present as special guest during the course.
