For the first time, on February 25th ITF-Belgium had the Belgian Championships for youth 6-13 in Lokeren.

Previous years, the Belgian Championships for youth, junior and senior were held on the same day. To have a day especially for the children, and to have more time for several disciplines on both BC's, we decided to organize this first Belgian Youth Championships in tul, teamtul, sparring and special techniques.

   

In presence of some lokal newspapers and VIP's, and with the support of the Sportscouncil of Lokeren and FROS (who brought a souvenir for all the participants), around 55 children and 30 referees, helpers and coaches from several affiliated schools enjoyed the competition.

The day started at 9.00 with tul and teamtul, followed by sparring and around 13.15 this BC ended with the special techniques.

Most members of the national team helped to make this day memorable for the children. It was very good to see that a lot of Taekwon-Do talent is growing among the children.
