Presov Open - Slovakia 2007
The KS Dragon Janow, Poland, won Best Club. SC TKD Ge-baek TJ Slavia PU from Presov was a close second.

The 5th Slovakian Open was held from 3rd – to 4th February, in Presov, East Slovakia. 21 clubs attended the event, from countries including Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia and Slovakia.

Approximately 230 junior and senior competitors took part in the two-day tournament, in patterns, sparring and special technique, held in the Sports Hall of Presov University. The largest categories were the younger divisions, which made this a good event for junior competitors.

On Saturday was the competition for children in all categories and juniors and seniors patterns and special techniques. Everybody competied in voluntary and in compulsory pattern.

On Sunday was only sparring for juniors younger, juniors older and seniors, every round 2x2 min.

   

The Grand Finals were held in the Sunday evening, with entertainment from aerobic and sport gymnastic group from Presov University with the lights and music show. The KS Dragon Janow, Poland, won Best Club with 66 points in total. SC TKD Ge-baek TJ Slavia PU from Presov was a close second with 63 points.

   

Mr. Tadeusz Loboda 6. Dan, president of All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation and Mr. Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan, general secretary of All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation took part in Presov Open too. We would like to thank them for their time and participation.

Our Organizing Commitee of Euros 2007 with Mr. Loboda, Mr. Jedut, Mr. Shaltenis from Latvia and Mr. Yershov from Latvia too were in Poprad in the Saturday evening and visited sport hall Poprad Arena and Hotel AquaCity. They were very satisfied with level of hall and hotel.
