Newsletter 1/2007 Busy February in AETF
February promises to be very interesting and busy for the President and the Secretary General of AETF.
Already on February 1st, 2007 there was a meeting in the AETF HQ with the representatives from Latvia, namely Mr. Armand Saltenis – the President and Mr. Juriy Jeshov – the member of the Board of Directors.
The main subject of the meeting was the matter of recognition of Latvijan Taekwon-do ITF Asociacija. The delegates relayed all necessary registration documents and carried on the conversation on the planned actions of the Latvijas Taekwon-do ITF Asociacjia. The dinner ended the visit of Latvijan representatives.
On the next day Mr. Tadeusz Loboda and Mr. Jerzy Jedut went to Presov. From February 2nd to 4th there were many opportunities for officials who participated in the 5th Presov Open tournament to carry on conversations with both representatives from AETF. Mr. Machota and Mr. Macek - the representatives from Czech Union of Taekwon-do and also the representatives from Slovak Union of Taekwon-do took advantage of that situation and hold talks. There was also chance to talk with the representatives from Hungarian clubs.
On February 3rd the delegation from AETF, Latvia and Slovak Union of Taekwon-do inspected the sports hall and hotels in Poprad, where the next Euros 2007 will be held and they were introduced to the progress of preparation to this European Championship.
From February 10th to 19th Mr. Loboda and Mr. Jedut will conduct the Central Winter Camp in Wisla town.
They will be both present during the 10th Taekwon-do Slovenia Open – MCA Open Taekwon-do Championship to be held on February 24th in Maribor. The meetings with the representatives of Balkan countries are already scheduled.
On February 28th the AETF President and the AETF Secretary General are going to Rome to participate in the ITF Board of Directors Meeting to be held from 1st to 4th March.
