Dear Masters, Instructors and Presidents

On behalf of the INTA, I have great pleasure in inviting you to Dublin for the 8th INTA International Open which takes place on March 3rd and 4th.

Since its inception in 1999, the INTA Open has grown to become the pre-eminent ITF Tournament in Ireland attracting competitors from across Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and Belgium including many European and World Championship medallists.

As with last year, the event will take place over two days with all of the Junior events taking place on the Saturday and all Senior events taking place on the Sunday. All colour belt and Junior Black Belt events will run according to the standard ITF Pyramid system with pattern and sparring events from 8th Kup up. For the Senior Black belts, the pyramid system shall apply in Patterns with a league system applying in Sparring. This ensures that all competitors will have the opportunity to spar at least twice thus gaining even more valuable experience of International competition.

The tournament venue is located close to Dublin airport with a choice of hotels and excellent transport links to Dublin City Centre and other parts of Ireland should you wish to enjoy a short break after the Tournament.
