Mr. Vensiclav Ignatov - the President of Bulgarian Association of TKD

A constituent assembly of Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-do /BAT/ was held on 21st of October 2006 in conference hall of the hotel Pliska in Sofia. There were 10 clubs present and 9 of them became founders of the new organization. On the meeting was voted the Constitution, Board of Director, Control Bodies. The Headquarters of BAT is in Rakovski Sports Center, 18 Balsha Street, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Mr. Vencislav Ignatov was unanimously elected the President of BAT. The decision was taken to have BAT Board of Directors, control council and 2 commissions – for organising and technical matters. The chairmen and members of mentioned structures were also elected. All the meeting was assisted by an accountant and a layer, who made the necessary explanations of some points of the Constitution and By-Laws where needed.

So far the Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do doesn’t have an official sign therefore they started a competition for children for logo of the organization. The prize for the winner will be full Taekwon-Do equipment.
