The oldest ITF Taekwon-Do Club in Sweden “Uppsala Taekwon-Do Klubb” celebrated its 30th anniversary with a big banquet on saturday the 21st of October.

Among the guests who had gathered at hotel Linné in Uppsala were the clubs founder, Grand Master Lim Won Sup 9 Dan, and Mr Mohammad Ali-Islamian 5 Dan who has always been, and still is, the main instructor of Uppsala Taekwon-Do Klubb. There were also many instructors and students who represented different times of the clubs history. There were also a lot of instructors from other clubs in Sweden and of course representatives from the board of Swedish ITF Taekwon-Do Association.

During the evening many speeches were held and old memories were shared. A funny moment was when some students from the club acted a show with traditional martial arts ideas. Of course there was also a birthday cake which had a magnificent TKD-design.

The conversations about TKD lasted in a happy and warm atmosphere until the small hours.
