Newsletter Newsletter 4/2006 Taekwon-do And PSP "Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection"

On 14th October 2006 the SONY PLAYSTATION organized a promotion of the play station game "Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection". Due to this promotion the company arranged a play station competition.

One of the fighters in the game named “Hwa-Rang” represented ITF Taekwon-do therefore ITF Austria was asked to demonstrate ITF Taekwon-do. Every hour (a total of six times) the ITF Austria presented the demonstration which included the 5 following components of Taekwondo: basic movements, patterns, sparring, self defence and power breaking. There were approximately 1000 spectators who watched the demonstration throughout the day.
