The weekend 29th September to 1st October 2006, the ITF President Master Trân Triêu Quân conducted a seminar in Trondheim, Norway.

145 black belts including 11 fourth degrees and above, and 118 colour belts attended the seminar.

This was the second time Master Tran visited Norway. The first time was in 1985 when he accompanied General Choi Hong Hi and Master Park Jung Tae at the Scandinavian Championships in Tromsoe. Many of the Norwegian seniors were happy to meet Master Tran again after all this years.

Friday night Master Tran had a special class for the 37 black belts from 3rd Dan and above. Master gave an interesting session of all the higher rank patterns.

Saturday and Sunday Master Tran conducted a very interesting seminar for all 253 participants. The students were from blue belt and above, and they got a professional and interesting introduction to all aspects of ITF Taekwon-Do.

Mr. Maxime Bujould, 4th degree, from Canada, assisted Master Tran. Mr. Bujould demonstrated the ITF patterns in an impressive and excellent way.

During Master Trans stay in Norway he had interesting meetings with the president and the secretary general in the Norwegian Martial Arts Federation and also a meeting with the president of the Norwegian Confederation of Sports. He also visited a representative of the Norwegian Olympic Committee. In this meeting Master Tran was together with the President of National Taekwon-Do Norway (NTN), Master Per Andresen and the NTN vice-president Master Per Chr. Garnaes.

Master Tran was introduced in how the Norwegian sports are organized in general and how the martial arts federation operate.

Master Tran informed these sports authorities about the ITF and its objections.

Master Trans visit to Norway was a great success and National Taekwon-Do Norway want to thank Master Tran for coming to Norway and sharing his wisdom with us.
