In the third year of organising competition the Pro Martial Arts Tour, founded bye three clubs of the ITF Netherlands, was now organising its forth competition. Our first two competitions in 2004 and 2005 were for children, the third competition in 2005 were for children, juniors and seniors and with 208, 136 and 311 competitors we are a growing organisation.

October 1, 2006 we organised the Promat Open 2006. Because of the great interest for our high quality tournament we have to focus at this "one day" tournament at only did two items of Taekwon-Do, individual Tuls and individual Sparring. Because we want our competitors to compete as much as possible we try this year the poule system in Tuls were we can let our athletes perform there abillities to the max. On comments we heard this we appreciated very.

 

This year we had 33 clubs/organisations/national teams in our tournament from 8 countries, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Slovenia, Romania, Poland, Ireland and the Netherlands. With a total of 277 competitors and 87 black-belts we are growing to the standard we want.

Before the matches we showed our appretiation to our Masters Lan-Ung (8th degree) from Germany, Master Tjin-A-Ton, Master Wijnand Tapilatu and Steef Zondag (7th degree) from the Netherlands. Also the visiting European and World champions champions from Germany, Kyrcia Lopez, from Slovenia Izabela Hohnjec, Maxine Pura, Gework Ikillijan from the Netherlands and many times champion Mazanna Pawlik from Poland were put in the spotlight. Even the Vice-President and tournament director of the European Championships of the AETF, Mr. Coos van den Heuvel was present to look at the performances of the atletes and organising committee of the Pro Martial Arts Tour.

Next year we are trying to make another huge step and organising something new, Pro Leaque of the Pro Martial Arts Tour. We want to melt the Open Tournaments together.
