On the 3rd June 2006 have been held XV Polish Junior Championships in Legnica (17-18 years).

It is the most important event for junior in Poland. It took place 40 days before the VIII World Junior Taekwon-do Championships in Honduras and it was one of the last test for our national team.

On the championships took part 122 competitors from 36 clubs. The competition had a very good organzational and instruction level.

The polish national coaches observed the competiton very carefully and made some corrections in the Polish Junior team compering with the team for Euros 2006.

The title of the best female competitor won Julia Sakowska from the club KST "Tornado" Szczecin, the best male competitor - Paweł Tracz from KWSW "Taewo" Warszawa.

The best club was Klub Koreanskiej Sztuki Walki from Legnica, the organizer of the event.

The championships attended many famous politicians and the authorities.

Currently the junior teams will start the preparations for the World Championships on the sport camps - male team in Spala and female team in Stronie Slaskie. See the complete list of polish competitors for Honduras 2006.
