Valery Kuzin has died
With regret we would like to inform you that on April, 27th 2006 has suddenly died Valery Vladimirovich Kuzin.
Mr. Kuzin was one of the very first pioneers of Taekwon-do in Russia.
On VIIIth Congress in Montreal, Canada on 17th August 1990 was appointed as the Chairman of the Collegiate Committee.
On the IXth Congress, in Phongyang, Korea on 8th September 1992 became a member of the ITF-Board of Directors.
On Xth Congress Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, 27th July 1994 became ITF Vice-president and has been fulfilling his duties till 1999.
He was main organizer of the 1st World Junior Taekwon-do Championships in Moscow � 17th-18th July 1993.
Valery Vladimirovich Kuzin was the person with interests in many fields of activity. He gave a lot of forces and time to policy, sports, a science, pedagogics, the edition of books, newspapers and magazines.
Valery Vladimirovich Kuzin was born on July, 7th, 1963. His first sports specialization was figure skating, where he became Master of Sports and was the member of the National Squad.
The doctor of pedagogical sciences, the professor, the academician of the Russian Academy of Education. For a number of years was rector of Russian University of Physical Education. Has published more than 90 scientific works, has prepared more than ten Ph. D.�s and professors.
He was twice selected the deputy of the State Duma.
