Newsletter Newsletter 2/2006 Master Marano in Israel

On Aprill 7th-9th, 2006 Master Hector Marano, VIII degree, ITF Board of Directors member and chairman of the ITF Technical Instruction Committee visited Isreal and the Israeli Taekwon-Do Center. Master Marano conducted two seminars for the colored belts in the northern and southern parts of Israel, and conducted an exam and seminar for black belts.

The main part of the visit was the "Master Marano 2nd Cup" competition, which was held in the city of Hertzelia. On the competition participated about 160 students from all over Israel in patterns and sparring. The ceremony that was held during the competition was very emotional. Watching the "Kwon-do" disabled team perform was very moving. They preformed in their wheelchairs and did patterns and sparring.

   

   

Master Marano said in his speech to all the competitors, that they are the future of Israeli Taekwon-do, and he hopes to see them in the future at international events and competitions.

We would like to thank Master Marano for his knowledge and support during the first year of building and developing the Israeli Taekwon-Do Center and Federation.
