Visit Warsaw for International Taekwon-Do Match
If you are Taekwon-do practitioner or supporter, you are especially invited to come to Poland to see the International Taekwon-do Match in Warsaw. The plane tickets for all Europe are now very cheap. Check the prizes:
Polish Taekwon-do Association has an honor to invite to finals of the International Taekwon-do Match with participation of the National Team members of England, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Poland and Ukraine to be held on 26th March 2006 (Sunday) in Warsaw in the sport hall of Academy of the Physical Education called "Hala Gier", Marymoncka str. 34 in Warsaw.
The finals are great opportunity to see and to support our best European competitors:
- Poland will be represented by such famous Champions as:
- Joanna Paprocka from LKS Lotos Jabłonna,
- Marzanna Pawlik from KWSW Legnica
- Małgorzata Rogaczewska from LSKT Lublin
- Miłosz Moskaluk and Daniel Działa from MKS Lewart Lubartów
- Dariusz Idzikowski from Start Olsztyn.
- Europe will be represented by such great individuals as:
- Igor Maksimienko from Ukraine – extraordinary talented, current European Champion. In his fights is consequential, strong and determined. He is trying to dominate the opponent.
- Andrey Pasechnik from Ukraine – very clever and consequential, technically and physical very good prepared. He prefers a "tough" style of fighting.
- Katya Solovey from Ukraine – one of the most talented woman on the world in Taekwon-do sparring; in duel she is hard to catch out and tries to enforce “her” style of fighting to the opponent; European Champion and silver medalist on World Championships.
- Krycia Lopez from Germany – the World Champion, uncompromising and dynamic in sparring, favorite technique - Yop chagi, which is crashing for the defense of the opponents.
- Ulrike Worz from Germany – a multimedalist, long and reach experience, hers boxing skill and strength are on the highest level;
- Partik Carlstrom from Sweden – typical Swedish "Viking" with Polish soul of warrior, the main mark of his specific and unusual style of fighting is dynamic and courage;
- Zak Espi from England – his offensive style of fighting became a legend, the winner on the European Cup; the best English competitor in sparring, flexible and brave, he doesn’t fear of the confrontation;
- Oleg Taraskin from Russia – the silver medalist of the World Championships in Dortmund, very brave in action, strong and well prepared, he is hard to foresee, his advantage is versatility;
- Neil Ernest from Wales – the World Champion from Warsaw. Great experience, calm, speed and simultaneous efficiency; the legendary conqueror of David Kerr from Brazil, 3 times World Champion and the bugbear of the Russian rings Aleksandr Simakov.
The organizers of the Match prepared many additional attractions for the publicity and competitors to make this evening unforgettable. If the fighter will not make it, it will be made by the professional dance group Spin from Warsaw.
The sparring will take place on special prepared stage with professional lights and will be commentated by Arkadiusz "Aris" Nowakowski - famous from the polish running of Big Brother show.
On the Match you can buy also a unique, limited T-shirt form the International Taekwon-do Match.
All participants have chance to take part in „Afterparty”, to be held in club "Blonde", http://www.blondeclub.pl/ Al. Jerozolimskie 120 in Warsaw. The ticket for the competition is also invitation for the party, where you can meet the most famous Taekwon-do competitors in Europe.
