The Slovak Union of Taekwon-do ITF welcame international instructor Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan, general secretary AETF, vicepresident of The Polish Taekwon-do Association, from the 24th to the 25th of February 2006 in Smolenice (west part of Slovakia) and from the 25th to the 26th of February 2006 in Presov (east part of Slovakia).

Mr. Jedut came to Smolenice on Friday evening and he started with training, which was aimed at technics which are important for exam. The students of SC Taekwon-do Drako Smolenice were devided according the belts to 2 groups. On Saturday was exam, where took part 16 students.

After exam he was traveling to East part of Slovakia. Exactly to Poprad, High Tatras and Presov. Martina Soltisova Semesiova, president of Slovak Union of Taekwon-do ITF (SUT ITF), Daniela Palascakova, general secretary of SUT ITF and Pavol Lenhardt, member of SUT ITF waited Mr. Jedut in Poprad, to show him a place of the 13th JUNIOR and the 22th SENIOR EUROPEAN TAEKWON-DO CHAMPIONSHIPS.

   

   

We wisited a sport hall, Aqua City (one of the best hotels in Poprad), Hotel Satel and then we traveled by car to the High Tatras – the bigest mountines in Slovakia, which are 15 km far from Poprad. We were there in 2 parts of High Tatras, in „Starý Smokovec“ and „Tatranská Lomnica“. In Starý Smokovec are 2 hotels, where will accomodate participants, for example Hotel Atrium and then we went to Tatranská Lomnica, where is 4 stars hotel for VIP – Grand Hotel Praha.

It was a nice work's trip, the weather was not bad and Mr. Jedut was satisfied.

We arrived to Presov at 9 pm, but we had a short training with older group. Trainer Jedut presented new exercises about begining of training as stars wars and so on.

   

The main part of visit started at 9 am on Sunday with a group „gummi bears“ (little children) and continued with older group. After the seminar was exam, where participated 24 students from Presov and 1 from Kosice.

We would like to thank Mr. Jedut for his visit, seminar, exam and for his costly time and we are looking forward to meeting him in Presov Open – 12. 3. 2006 in Presov.
