International Instructors Course Cologne
Dear Masters, Instructors and Members!
As you may know, the 1st International Instructors Course of the ITF after the passing away of our beloved founder, General Choi Hong-Hi, was held in Cologne, Germany in February 2003.
In 2006 Germany will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the ITF (1966 – 2006/see logo above). Due to the fact, that the Technical Committee of ITF was very co-operative we can celebrate the 40th anniversary with an International Instructors Course in Cologne, Germany.
The course will be held from June 2nd, 2006 to June 4th, 2006. The venue will be Sportshall Gereonsmühlengasse 4 in Cologne.

14.00 – 17.00 seminar/grading up to 7th Degree

The ITF International Instructors Course will include the following program and/or qualifications:
patterns from Chon-Ji up to Tong-Il
step sparring
self defence
ITF International Instructor Qualification (4th degree and up)
grading up to 7th degree (permission from NGB and ITF is needed)
Courses fee, according to the By-Laws, will be as 150 $ US plus 20 € inscription fee.
The course fee is waived for VII to IX Degree.
Special agreement for accommodation fees has been made with Kommerz Hotel:

Room rates: single bed room 53,00 € including breakfast, double bed room 98,00 € including breakfast
The Kommerz Hotel is located 100 m from the Main Railway Station in Cologne (Hauptbahnhof) and 800 m from the Sportshall Gereonsmühlengasse in the heart of the beautiful city and within a walking distance to the old town with its fascinating pubs and restaurants and of course to the world famous Gotic Cathedral (Dom).
Other Hotels are also available but more expensive.

How to come to Cologne:
By plain:
Fly to Cologne Airport (German Wings, HLX, Air Berlin) and from there take the Bus no. 170 to the Bus terminal Breslauer Platz/Köln Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) (next to Kommerz Hotel)! The bus will be leaving Cologne Airport every 30 minutes. Or take the S-Bahn (S 13) to Köln Hauptbahnhof (Hbf).
By train:
Get off at Cologne Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof = Hbf).
By car:
Take the Autobahn A 3 from Frankfurt or Oberhausen direction Cologne. From Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost direction Köln-Zentrum (City – Centre) on Stadtautobahn. Direct after crossing the River Rhine leave the Stadtautobahn and turn right on Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer. After 2 km turn right again on Goldgasse. You will see the Kommerz-Hotel on the left side (orange-coloured).

How to come to Sportshall Gereonsmühlengasse 4: Pass by the Main Railway Station (Breslauer Platz), turn left under the Railway Station (Ursulastraße) and follow Victoriastraße and Kyotostraße. You will see the sportshall on the left side of Kyotostraße.
