AETF Board of Directors Meeting




13th-14th January 2006 in Lublin have been held the AETF Board of Directors meeting. On the meeting were persent 6 AETF BD members and 2 members of the AETF Revisiory Commission. The meeting, althought very long and hard was really very positive and constructive.

The members of the Board was introduced with the AETF activity in 2005 including the activity of the Headquarters and particular Committies. They had also a chance to take a look in all AETF documents.

The AETF regulation of the sport competition was updated. The updated text of the rules will be presented as a separate news item.

First time there was a reading of the Rules and Procedures of the Committee on Ethics and Discipline of All Europe Taekwon-do Federation prepared by Master Frank Vanbergen. It was great job done by Master Vanberghen (assisted Sabum Virginia Dionisi - Legal counsel), which was appreciated by all members of the Board.

Before the AETF Congress in Constanta the draft will be send to the AETF member countries.

The motions concerning the organization of the Euros were approved by the Board.

ITF Poland submitted the motion to organize the Euros 2008 and ITF Portugal in 2009. The first motions was accepted by the board, but according to the procedure the AETF member countries still can submitt their motions concerning the Euros 2008, 2009 and next.

The AETF Revisory Commission presented the results of the financial controll procedings. The preliminary for 2006 and the balance from 2005 was approved by the Board.

There was also discussion about the agreements concerning the organization of the AETF Umpire Course and the Technical Course and the participation of the AETF Tournament and Umpire Committee on Tournaments.

  

The participants appreciated the proffessional preparation to the meeting and the great atmosphere. According to their opinion "AETF is developing into a very professional organisation with a solid foundation".
