On Sunday the 4th December the INTA (National association for the ITF / AETF in Ireland) held their winter black belt grading. The grading took place at the Taekwon-Do centre in Dublin, 18 students presented to be considered for various grades from 1st Dan to 4th Dan.
The grading was conducted by the INTA’s black belt examination panel which consists of the 3 most senior examiners in the association, Master Brendan O’Toole 7th Dan (INTA Present and Technical director); Master Val Douglas 7th Dan (Vice president and coaching director); and Mr. Gerry Martin 6th Dan. Of the 18, 14 students passed the highest rank.
The grading covered all aspects of Taekwon-Do covering Technical movement; Patterns; Step sparing and Self-defence Techniques; Sparing, Power and Theory.
