Taekwon-Do Black Belt in Polish Parliament

Polish Taekwon-do Association would like to inform that our colleague Damian Raczkowski was elected to the Polish Parliament. In the region of Bialystok he gained 5 527 votes. Damian Raczkowski is currently the Vice-foreman (starosta) of the Powiat of Bialystok, is also the Chairman of the Platforma Obywatelska (2nd winning party in Polish parliment - according to the last election) in regional land district of Bialystok.

He trained Taekwon-do ITF in Taekwon-do Sport Club So-San Bialystok, since 28.12.1996 he is a black belt holder - 1st dan.

Since 1999 is a umpire in National Umpire Commission of Polish Taekwon-do Association. He was active in Academy Taekwon-do of Podlasie and Regional Taekwon-do Association in Bialystok.

The Board of Directors of Polish Taekwon-do Association would like to congratulate to Damian and share the enjoying his success.

Mr. Wojciech Zdanuczyk, his coach transmitted his greetings to the participants of International Instructor Course, held in Poland on October 7th-9th, 2005. He assured that Damian will still support the development of Taekwon-do in Poland in the future.

We wish to Damian many achievements in his political carrier and all success in personal life.
