International Instructor Course in Poland

Polish Taekwon-do Association would like to inform on October, 7th-9th, 2005 in Lublin, Poland in the sport hall of University of Technology have been held the 202nd International Instructor Course.

The seminar was conducted by the members of the Technical Committee of the International Taekwon-do Federation: Master Hector Marano, Chairman (8 Degree, Argentine), Master Pablo Trajtenberg (8 Degree, Argentine) and Master Willem Jacob Bos (8th Degree, Italy).

The special guest on the seminar was the President of the International Taekwon-do Federation Master Trân Triêu Quân (8 Degree), Master Tom MacCallum, Secretary General of the International Taekwon-do Federation and Master Paul Weiler (7degree, Germany) Vice-president of the ITF. The main goal of the seminar was the standardization of the technical elements. Master Trân Triêu Quân underlined also the philosophical aspects of Taekwon-do, necessary to protect Taekwon-do from the commercialization.

The seminar has following time schedule:

  

In the seminar took part 75 trainers and instructors from Poland and 36 from abroad, in total 111 persons, representatives of 3 continents form 11 countries (Argentina, Ukraine, Slovakia, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Latvia and Poland).

After the seminar had place 2 hours black belts test in the Sport Hall of Primary School No.23, 9 Podzamcze str. The commission under the leadership of Master Trân Triêu Quân, supported by Master Marano and Master Trajtenberg graduated following degrees:

  8. Yershov Jury, Latvia - IV dan
  9. Mambetalieva Nurisa, Kyrgyzstan - IV dan
  10. Castro Fernando, Argentina - V dan

Using the presence of the representatives of all clubs in Poland, on Friday, October 7th at 20.30 - 22.00 have been held the annual meeting af Polish Taekwon-do Association in order to set the calendar of events for 2006. On Saturday, October, 8th in Grand Hotel Lublinianka had place meeting of the ITF Executive Committee in order to discuss the current matters of the ITF. Both meeting was neccesery and productive. Many questions have been disscused and approved.

This period was also great opportunity for official and nonformal meetings. The representatives of particular countries arranged many matters concerning their countries, they received the certificates and transmited the documents directly from the highest officers of ITF.

   

   

During the seminar the was great sunny weather especially for walks, trips and sightseeing. The participants visited also the AETF headquarter, took many pictures and asked questions about the details of working in our organization. They received also souvenirs and gadgets. During the seminar for the plain reasons the AETF office was open every day till late at night.

The practicioners absent on the seminar have the possibility to take part on the International Instructor Course in Romania.
