National Instructor Course in Poland

30 candidates for a Taekwon-do ITF instructors took part in the National Instructor Course in Lublin. The Course had place on September 16th-25th, 2005.

The course’s time schedule consisted of 112 hours of trainings and lectures, conducted by Taekwon-do specialists: Tadeusz Loboda, Jerzy Jedut, Krzysztof Pawlik and outstanding practicians and theoreticians from the other sport disciplines.

One of them was the legendary Judo coach, Master Ryszard Zieniawa, well known competitor (21 times Champion of Poland) and also great coach of competitors like 2-time Olympics champion - Waldemar Legien and silver medalist of the Olympics - Janusz Pawlowski. On the list of his competitors are also: Wojciech Reszko, Wiesław Blach, Rafał Kubacki, Andrzej Dziemianiuk, Andrzej Sadej, Krzysztof Kaminski, Andrzej Basik i Jerzy Kolanowski. The competitors coached by Master Zieniawa gained 30 medals on the Olympics, World and European Championships. He is also the lector on the Academy of Physical Education in Gdansk. The participants of the course were impressed with the lectures of Master Zieniawa.

Retired coach of the Polish National Athletics Team, Mr. Mirosław Tucewicz taught about the secrets of the training, speed, power, strength, durability and flexibility.

The participants of the Course had also lectures with one of the best lector in biomechanics, the Dean of the Academy of the Physical Education in Biała Podlaska, Mr. Janusz Jaszczuk Ph. D.

Part of the lectures was held by one of the precursor in the sport psychology, Mr. Nikodem Zukowski Ph.D.

The lectures in sport medicine were held by the doctor of the Knee Clinic in Naleczow, Robert Weglowski, Ph. D. He presented first help rules, films and materials took on the medical treatments of knee, foot, wrist and shoulders. He informed how to avoid the contusions caused by the wrong training methods.

There were also a lot of other lectures concerning the knowledge necessary for the main instructors of the club.

In Poland to be a Taekwon-do instructor a candidate should fulfill fallowing requirements:

In the course can take part persons, who completed this kind of course in the past, but they would like to refresh their knowledge.

Only people with official instructor license can conduct the classes.

Each participant of the Course gained a lot of materials, and in spite of tiredness was impressed with the level of the Course.
