Between August the 12th and 15th the Taekwondo summer camp was held by Mr. Jedut; the VI Dan instructor who came over from Poland. Also he brought over with him Jarosław Suska, the current World and European VI degree Pattern Champion and quite possible in my opinion one of the finest practitioners of Taekwon-Do.
Mr Suska took a few of the Sessions. Marcin Wronowski, Tomek Olek and Kasia Jedut also came over from Poland. Throughout the four-day period, the sessions were held very well, with extremely good teaching methods that were passionately heard and felt from Mr. Jedut and his assisting students. From the fitness exercises to checking the precision of ‘fundamental movements’ and techniques everyone was very well aware of Mr. Jedut’s essential comments and suggestions.
Whether it was day 1 or the last afternoon the brilliance and supreme excellence of what Mr. Jedut wanted the practitioners to see, do and learn never faltered; not for a second. His descriptions of stances, ‘centre of gravity’, terms of body movement and sparring strategies were precise, in depth and thought provoking (I certainly felt I have become better from what I have practised and learnt.) All in all Mr. Jedut’s classes and attitude towards Taekwondo and its fellow students is devoted and well worth going to; I believe anyone who wants to improve or needs a boost in their abilities will certainly benefit from what he has to offer.
Once again Docklands would like to thank Mr Jedut, Mr Suska and their students for taking time out from the busy schedules that they have to once again come over to London and show their skills. Roll on 2006 and the next Camp.
