Donauinselfest

According to the annual tradition, also this year on 24-26 June took place on the Donau Island in Vienna the Great European Open Air Festival called „Donauinselfest“. By this opportunity, ITF Austria showed great performance of 5 ITF Taekwon-do disciplines. 24 taekwon-do practitioners, athletes from 5 clubs (Guk-gi, Yom-chi, Yisunsin and Master MacCallum Taekwon-do-Do Academy) cooperated by this entertainment.

   

   

The performance took place on 25 June at 20:45 – 21:15. It was the time of sunset and the final show of power braking was especially spectacular. The performance was attended by ca. 2000-3000 spectators.

   

Organizers of this 30 minutes performance were Rene Walter IV. Dan (treasurer ITF-Austria) and Elmar Kickingereder IV. Dan (President ITF-Austria).

Praterfest

The second great performance of ITF Austria took place on 1st May 2005 (“labor day”) during the annual feast on the famous Prater in Vienna. Besides the different attractions there are also performances of diverse sport disciplines. ITF-Austria divided this time the performance. The athletes from the clubs "guk-gi" and "yom-chi" presented Taekwon-do in 5 parts. Next to numerous power breaking there was also presented hosin-sul, tul and matsogi.

   

The greatest final - power breaking with fire on the highest level - was performed by Mr. Staffenberger, Mr. Walter and Mr. Kickingereder.
