On behalf of the ITF Tournament & Umpire Committee, I would like to welcome all the participants, officials and supporters to the 14th World Taekwon-Do Champion-ships I.T.F. to be held in Dortmund, Germany.

I assure that this event, like those World Championships held before, shall have a professional approach concerning competition rules, programs and all details related to it. Keeping in mind the tenets of Taekwon-Do, this event shall give great sportsmanship and shall remain as a beautiful memory for of all those present.

I am sure that the Organizing Committee of the 14th World Taekwon-Do Championships I.T.F shall do everything to make all the participants, officials and supporters feel at home.
