The Baltic Taekwon-do Club Association submitted all required documents to be affiliated as an ITF and AETF member and paid for the ITF instructor plaques.
This is the organization established on 12 May 1994 and registered on 24th November 2004 in the National Registry of Latvia.
The main task of the organization is the popularization of Taekwon-do (ITF) in Latvia. The main goal of BTCA is to develop and popularize the Taekwon-do martial art in Latvia, to select the National Latvian Team for the European and world Championships, to organize different recreational events for the general public, to popularize healthy way of life and to make more citizens join the clubs of our Association.
On 10th January 2005 in General Assembly of BTCA decided to join the ITF led by Master Trân Triêu Quân.

From 1992 till 1994 in Latvia taught the international instructor (now Master) Mr. Pang Chol Nam, till 1995 Master Chong Dae Yong. After his departure we did the classes by ourselves.
Baltic Taekwon-do Club Association was in constant touch with AETF Headquarters and on 20th-21st May 2005 visited our office.
On Friday guests observed also the training in advanced group of Lubelski Sportowy Klub Taekwon-do conducted by Mr. Tadeusz Loboda. The training was a preparation to the coming Senior Championships of Poland to be held in Wielun next weekend.
