Last weekend (5th-8th of May) Helsinki University Taekwon-Do Club hosted "Szybka Noga" camp ("fast leg" in Polish). The camp was conducted by sabumnim Jerzy Jedut, VI degree, member of the AETF Technical Committee from Poland. Over 100 Finnish Taekwon-Do enthusiasts took part in the seminar, ranging from 8. gup to V degree.
The exercises were physically demanding and intense, but the highly motivating atmosphere made it possible for everyone to give their best performance. Sabumnim Jedut's experience and knowledge made an impression on every participant.
The training sessions focused strongly on improving technical and physical skills. Many exercises were done with a partner or in a group, sometimes with kicking shields and protective equipment. Some fundamental exercises and pattern exercises were made, too.
On the last day sabumnims Mariusz Steckiewicz, V degree, and Michael Holler, IV degree, conducted two training sessions that included lessons on patterns and step sparring.
