108 participants attended the seminar, ranging in experience from 2nd Kup to VII Degree Master. The event had a truly international flavour with practitioners from Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Australia and Czech Republic in attendance.

The weekend included modules on many aspects of Taekwon-Do including detailed analyses of patterns from Chon ji through to Tong Il, application of techniques, a tournament and umpire workshop and many discussions to standardise how Taekwon-Do is taught to ensure that level of tuition in ITF remains at it's current high standard.

The weekend also included an opportunity to grade for three of the course participants. It was a very special weekend for the Irish contingent who were proud to see the promotion of Ireland's newest master.

Master Val Douglas commenced his Taekwon-Do career in Dublin in 1973 and has been an Instructor for twenty-seven years. Together with his instructing and examining responsibilities, Master Douglas has held the position of Head Coach to the Irish Team since 2002 and has coached many European and World medallists.

Master O'Toole on behalf of the INTA and organising committee would like to warmly congratulate the following on their successful promotions:

Many thanks also to National Secretary, David Condon who took on the responsibility of course organiser and to all the participants who's enthusiasm made the event a memorable and enjoyable occasion.
