On the 13th of March 2005 was held 3rd Presov Open – Open Slovak Championship of Taekwondo ITF in Presov, settled in eastern part of Slovakia. The competition was for children, juniors and seniors in 3 disciplines: sparring, patterns and special techniques.

We started with patterns and special techniques. In the afternoon we arranged beautifull finals sparrings with mascots (bear and elephant), videoprojection and cultural program.

We could welcome 18 clubs from 5 countries as Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic and of course from Slovakia. We are very glad that we could see 191 competitors there.

Our invitation accepted and came to Presov the President of All Europe Taekwon-do Federation Mr. Tadeusz Loboda 6. dan and the General Secretary Mr. Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan. The Organizing Committee of the 3rd Presov Open Taekwon-do ITF Competition would like to express their sincere thanks for the participation in this event.

The tournament attended also Ing. Milan Benc, who is the President of our town Presov with college from town office Ing. Milan Laca and Doc. Ing. Peter Kuzmisin, Dr Sc., Prorector for development and informatics of the Universites Presoviensis and Pae Dr. Juraj Mihalcin, manager of TJ Slavia PU from Universites Presoviensis (the Department of Sport).
