On 25th February 2005 Mr. Mr. Tadeusz Loboda, the AETF President and Mr. Jerzy Jedut, the AETF Secretary General made an official visit in Ireland. The reason of the visit was a meeting, which main aim was to sign an agreement between the INTA (National Association in Ireland) and the Irish Taekwon-Do Council (Allied Association in Ireland). The INTA is leaded by Master Brendan O'Toole. The ITC includes 2 organisations (associations): the AITA leaded by Mr. Paul McNicholas and the ITA leaded by Mr. Stephen Cooley.
The agreement concerned the cooperation between above mentioned organisations by forming of the Irish national squad for the upcoming XI Junior and XX Senior European Championships to be held on 22-24 April 2005 in Terracina, Italy, for the XIV World Senior Taekwon-Do Championships to be held in Dortmund, Germany, the rules of calling to the squad, the training proceedings.
The agreement specified also the financial and organisational conditions of the cooperation.
During the meeting mentioned also about the principles of the cooperation and participation in the International Instructor Course to be held in April. On the meeting there were discussed the main proposals of common activity regarding the organisational structure, the procedures of affiliation to the National Association and co-ordination of the activity concerning the development of Taekwon-Do in Ireland.
The meeting was finished with success.
All interested parties compiled a schedule of activity for the future and signed a proper agreement. There was settled, that the next meeting will be held during the Euros in Terracina.
