February 20th, the ITF-Belgium organised a small tournament for beginners, children aged 6-13, in Steenokkerzeel.

The purpose was to learn the children the principles of an ITF championship and the ITF rules. About 50 children, mainly white and yellow belts, competed in tul, sparring (league-system) and special techniques.

More than 25 umpires helped to make sure that the children (and their parents) had a wonderfull day.

Participating was more important than winning, each child was a winner, so every participant already got a medal at the start of the tournament.
