Over 100 Taekwon-Do practitioner gathered last weekend 12-13.2 in Tampere to participate in the national self-defence camp. The Hosin-Sul camp was organized for the second time by ITF Finland (Suomen ITF Taekwon-Do ry).
Participants from 8 gup to 5 degree were devided into 3 groups. Each training was focused on different aspects of self-defence including on-the-ground situations, defence agains knife, stick, hand gun.
Exercises with use of impact techniques and wrestling practise were also applied.
Classes were conducted by specialists and professionals well known in Finland from Taekwon-Do and other martial arts:
Participants came from almost all the ITF Finland clubs and other organizations. Camp was also excellent opportunity to refresh some old friendships and co-operations.
Participants' big interest and excitement gave us motivation to continue this initiative and to organize in the future camps with more international approach.
