The Slovak Union of Taekwon-Do ITF (SUT ITF) is voluntary organisation, which was founded on the 23 th of January 2004 after registration in Slovak gouverment. It is member of Europe Taekwon-Do Federation (AETF) and International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).

The year 2004 was rich in diferent activities. We participated on 8 big national and international competitions, which includes Euros 2004 in Finland and Junior World Championship in Italy. We fought out 94 medals: 36 gold medals, 30 silver medals and 28 bronze medals.

We managed central summer camp for slovak students and 3 seminars with international instructor Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan. We participated on 3 camps in Poland and 2 big very important seminars with president of ITF master Trân Trieu Quân 8. Dan and with master Jacob Willem Boss 8. Dan in Poland.

Every month was interesting and progressive for us:

January

• The 23th of January - succesfull registration on Slovak gouverment
• The 30. - 31th of January was held the seminar with international instructor Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan in Presov. 70 people took part there and learned progressive technics of sparing, selfdefence and so on. Patterns did not miss.
  
  

February

• On the 1 st of February the exam to colour belts with international instructor Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan in Presov happened and folowing number of students pass:
  • on 10. kup passed - 16 students
  • on 9. kup passed - 5 students
  • on 8. kup passed - 14 students
  • on 7. kup passed - 4 students
  • on 6. kup passed - 5 students
  • on 5. kup passed - 5 students
  • on 4. kup passed - 2 students
  • on 3. kup passed - 2 students
  • on 2. kup passed - 2 students
• One part of members of SUT ITF learned new Taekwon-Do technics in winter central camp from 19th to 22th of February in Lubartow with Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan, Jarek Suska 4. Dan.
• The 6th of February we made a big dance party for people who like Taekwon-do. It was in Presov and 140 persons took part there.

March

March is important month for us, because we have made the bigest open competition in Slovakia. In the year 2004 it was on the 14th of March in Presov. Clubs from Poland, Hungary, Ireland and Slovakia were competing there in paterns and sparing. There were approximately 150 competitors. Our students were succesfull, they won 3 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 12 bronze medals.

April

• From 23th to 25th of April fought Martina Semesiova with national couch Ladislav Hunady in polish Legnica and Wroclaw on International Match. She came home with bronze medal.
  
  

May

• Our team participated on European Cup in Hungary - Hatvan. It was from the 1st to 2nd of May. They won 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
• Our national team of Taekwon-Do consisting from 1 head couch and 6 competitors took part on 10th Junior and 19th Senior European Taekwon-Do ITF Championship in Finland. Our Juniors was excelent, they came home with 2 silver medals (Lenka Palascakova in special technics and Robert Skop in patterns) and 1 bronze medal (Martin Magda in sparing to 58 kg).
  
  
  
  
• On 29th of May we took part on AHAC CUP in Slovenia. Our team consisting from 1 coach and 4 competitors, won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.

June

From 26th to 27th of June we organized the second seminar this year (2004) with international instructor Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan in Presov. On seminar participated 50 persons and by the end of seminar there was an exam and some of them tode an exam.

July

5 membered national team, consisting of 1 coach (president SUT ITF) and 4 competitors took part on the 7th World Junior Taekwon-Do ITF Championship in Italy. We had the 6th place in special technics (Tomas Gajdos) and the 7 th place (Lenka Palascakova) in the same discipline.

August

• From 14th to 20th of August we managed central summer camp in Habura. It is Eastern Karpaty (mountain). Approximately 30 persons took part there.
• We also participated on International central summer camp in polish Lubartow. We had chance to learn new thing from instructors Tadeusz Loboda 6. Dan, Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan and Jarek Suska 4 Dan. We visited an office of AETF in Lublin in the same time.
  
  

September

Our clubs accepted new students.

October

• On the 9th of October we were on the competition organized by Czech Union of Taekwon-do, in Brandys nad Labem. Our students fought very well and won 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
• From the 15th to 17th of October the seminar with president of ITF master Trân Trieu Quân 8. Dan was organized. It was held in Lublin and members of SUT ITF were not missing. Ladislav Huòady vicepresident of SUT ITF with 2 students - Lenka Palascakova and Veronika Balazova took part.
  
  
  
  
• On the 23th of October 2004 we managed a little international competition in Smolenice. There were aproximately 60 persons from Poland and Slovakia.

November

We won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals in DRAGON CUP, which was held in polish Koniecpol on the 13th of November.

December

• From the 4th to 5th of December could our students train with international instructor Jerzy Jedut 6. Dan in Presov. Aproximately 50 persons took part there.
  
  
  
  
• Martina Soltisova Semesiova with Lenka Palascakova participated on seminar with master Jacob Willem Boss 8. Dan in Lublin, Poland. It was from the 11th to 12th of December. By the end of seminar Lenka Palascakova passed the exam to 1. Dan.
  
  
  
  
• On the 19th of December we aranged a big Christmas competition in Presov, where the people liking Taekwon-Do could compete. Santa Clous was not missing, of course.
