Our organization Switzerland TKD Federation is not big yet. In spite of that we are trying to develope TKD in our country very active. We make different activities to promotion TKD in our country.

In 2003 we have made 3 demonstrations, 2 courses of self defence and one big festival with approximate 200 people. In sport competition we obtained one bronze medal in the European Championship in Rijeka - Croatia and 2 bronze medals in the World Championship in Poland. We made 3 articles in newspaper to comment this success.

In 2004 Switzerland TKD Federation 6th March 2004 conducted black belts examination for 1st and 2nd degree in our Federation. The participants and his new degrees are: Hayal Ince 2nd degree, Ivan Zderic 1st degree, Daniel Zimmermann 1st degree.

17th April 2004 have been held an election of a new Board of Directors in our Organization. The new authorities are: President Jorge Züger 4th degree, Vicepresident Hayal Ince 2nd degree, Treasurery Maruja Züger 2nd degree, Secretary Daniel Zimmermann 1st degree, Auditor Ivan Zderic 1st degree.

5th May 2004 took place Course of Self-defence and explanation of the philosophy of Taekwon-Do in a secondary School with the participation of 67 students.

14th to 16th May 2004, representatives of Switzerland took part in the European Taekwon-Do Senior and Junior Championships in Tampere-Finland. In this opportunity Daniel Zimmermann obtained one bronze medal in Sparring Junior up to 63 kg, and Jorge Züger one bronze medal in Sparring senior up to 63 kg and one bronze medal in Patterns 4° degree.

On July 2004 we partizipated also in the Junior World Championships in Riccione, Italy. Unfortunately without medals.

28th September 2004 took place Taekwon-Do Special Training in a secondary school with the participation of 38 students.

30th October - 1 November 2004 our representatives participated in the International Instructor Course in Rimini- Italy, and black belt examination where Jorge Züger achieved 5° degree.

4th - 5th December 2004 our 4 representatives participated in the recently Italian Open Championship from Riva del Garda, Italy. Daniel Zimmermann obtained 1 silver medal in the cathegory sparring black belts senior up to 63 kg and 1 bronze medal sparring junior up to 63 kg. Alejandra Zimmermann: 1 silver medal in the cathegory sparring senior female up to 55 kg and 1 silver in patterns yellow-green belts. Mauricio Zimmermann: 1 gold medal in the cathegory patterns junior yellow- green belts.

In 2005 we plan to take part in the Europe and World Championships.
