How to Speak Korean?

Korean is the official language of both South Korea and North Korea. Is spoken by more than 75 million people: has five major dialects in South Korea and one in North Korea, but they are relatively homogeneous, being mutually intelligible among speakers from different areas.

The mini-dictionary presented here is a excerpt from materials printed in DPR Korea (North Korea) distributed during the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students, Pyongyang, North Korea in 1989 and a korean publication for foreigner quests printed in 1975.
