In term 17-21 October 2004 invited by Board of Directors of Polish Taekwon-Do Association, Master Trân Trieu Quân - President of International Taekwon-Do Federation, VIII Dan officially visited Poland. Main aim of this visit was conducting a seminar for instructors, and Taekwon-Do practitioners from 2nd cup and higher.

Master known by his diligence, although arrived to Poland in Thursday late at night, he was working intensive in the office of All Europe Taekwon-Do Association already at the morning in Friday.

This day took also part in the meeting of Board of Directors of Polish Taekwon-Do Association, where had a lecture about main aims of ITF in the current cadence. He answered also questions of Board members. At Saturday and Sunday conducted Seminar for 63 instructors, red and black belts from Poland and representatives from Belarus, Slovakia and Ukraine.

The comments of Jerzy Jedut, Vice president of Polish Taekwon-Do Association, chief to the technical matters, Secretary General of All Europe Taekwon-Do Association concerning the Seminar with Master Trân Trieu Quân:

 
 

"10 hours spend in the gym made us aware, that Master is a person with huge knowledge and great preparation to all subjects. I participated personally numerous international seminars conducted by various instructors and I can ascertain that this what single out Master Trân is the professional way of explanation of theory of power in Taekwon-do, meaning and methods, how to teach "Do", larger point of view for self defense and the effort to systematize basic matters concerning sparring. In my opinion seminar had many benefits for instructors with a long practice time."

On one of sessions concerning self defense (hosin sul) Master Trân Trieu Quân presented material included in a book written by himself: "Cesses D'avoir peur", concerning self defense of women, published 1981 in Canada in French. Master announced second edition in English next year.

All participants of the seminar noticed, that Master Trân accented the great meaning of the "Do" and moral culture. He encouraged also to study this matter. All were very pleased with an effect of the seminar, everyone found something for himself. It was also occasion to reflection.

After the Seminar on Sunday Master Trân Trieu Quân took part in a Congress of Polish Taekwon-Do Association (photos), where presented current situation of ITF in the world and outlook for development. He answered also the questions of participants. During his stay in Poland found also time to visit 2 clubs MKS Lewart Lubartów (photos) and Sport Taekwon-Do Club in Lublin (photos). He had also time to sightsee the city and the Scansen in Lublin.

 
 

During his stay tried traditional polish food. And also with a great patience posed for numerous photos. We are looking forward to have next that kind of visit in Poland!
