From 18th to 27th of August 80 participants took part in Central Taekwon-Do Summer Camp in Lubartow. Mostly there were accommodated in dormitory (hostel) at Regional Center of Technical Education in Lubartow.
There were 15 participants from abroat. 8 from England including Mr Tom Denis VI degree, national coach of Englang, 5 from Slovakia including Mrs Semesiova II degree, president of Slovak Union of Taekwon-Do ITF and 2 from Ireland including Ciaran Ryan, current II degree pattern gold medalist from World Junior Champs in Riccione. All participants were divided to groups. Each group took part in two obligatory classes a day. The third class was not obligatory so students can come and be corrected by instructors individually or simply enjoy the time playing football, basketball or badminton (hall was big enough to find space for different activity).
Almost all classes were conducted by Jerzy Jedut VI degree and Jaroslaw Suska IV degree black belt. It is necessary to mention that two clasess were also conducted by Mr Tadeusz Loboda VI degree, president of Polish Taekwon-Do Association and also A.E.T.F. president. Clasess contained many different exercises. Mostly to improve fundamental movements, including kicks and hand techniques. There were also quite many sparring exercises including a lot of pad work and also some self defence.
Generelly the weather during the camp was OK so one afternoon all participants went by coach to the lake. The water was really clean and the day was very sunny so people enjoyed it very much. It is necessary to mention that some English (5 person) went also to Zakopane (for two days). Zakopane is the one of most known and famous polish mountain resorts. All English were very brave and tough They climbed on the top of the mount Giewont (1894 meters high). It was really hard but they showed indomitable spirit and perseverance.
At the end of the camp all participants announced even promised that come again to take part in Winter Camp.
