Lazaros Tsilfidis, President All Russian Taekwon-Do ITF Federation Lazaros Tsilfidis, President All Russian Taekwon-Do ITF Federation

After resignation of Mr. Mikhail Shmelov and retirement from his activity in our federation, AETF bind a favorable and promising contact with All Russian Taekwon-Do (I.T.F.) Federation in Russia with headquarter in Moscow. President of the Federation is a person well known in the circle of Taekwon-do, Mr. Lazaros Tsilfidis - VI Dan.

He is 32 years old, he is PH.D. in pedagogic, is working in Ministry of Education in Moscow. He is in charge of inter alia issue the sport clubs licenses.

In the past he was General Secretary of Russian Taekwon-Do Federation. Mr. Tsilfides speaks English, Russian and Greek. He has double nationality: Russian and Greek. He has the biggest Taekwon-Do club in Moscow "Tong il", with 800 students. In his Federation there are affiliated 14 regions with 4.000 practitioners and this number is growing up.

In term 29th April-04th May 2004 Mr. Tsilfidis visited Poland. During his visit he observed Younger Juniors Poland Championships Wolsztyn 2004. He took part in meetings with officials of Wolsztyn city, region of Wielkopolska and President of Polish Sport Confederation and members of Polish Taekwon-Do Association Board of Directors.

Mr. Tsilfidis took part also in XIX Senior and X Junior European Championships in Tampere (Finland). During the competition conversed with officials of AETF and ITF and representatives of European countries. Mr. Lazos Tsilfides promised to apply for membership in ITF and informed official about his participation in VII ITF Junior World Championships in Riccione (Italy)
