| Honor Patronage of the Minister of Sport and Tourism | March 3rd |
The Organizing committee has pleasure to inform that the honor patronage of the European Championship 2008 in Wroclaw has been assumed by Mr. Miroslaw Drzewiecki the Minister of Sport and Tourism.
Mr. Miroslaw Drzewiecki in the fourth term of the Polish Sejm was the chairman and in the fifth - a vice-chairman of the Sejm’s Physical Culture and Sports Commission.
On January 13, 2006 he became the spokesman for the shadow cabinet of Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform) and a person responsible for sport. He is also the treasurer of the party.
In private he is a football lover and his passion is golf as well, which he has been playing for several years with some success – also on the international level. This year, he has won the European Championships of EU MPs in Golf.

We hope that after the European Taekwon-do Championships in Wroclaw, Mr. Drzewiecki will also become an enthusiast of our martial art.
